Sustainable energy thanks to pellet heating and photovoltaics

With our pellet heating system, we save 50,000 litres per year compared to conventional oil heating systems. In addition, we rely on energy generation through photovoltaics and green electricity. 

Photovoltaics

With an output of 200 kWp, our photovoltaic system generates 206,000 kWh per year (2021). 

Since commissioning in November 2020, 119,901.20 kg of CO2 emissions have already been saved. That corresponds to 3,579 trees planted. 

We are especially proud of our pellet heating system:

• This saves 50,000 litres per year compared to oil heating
• The pellets are produced regionally nearby: Imst/Tyrol
• We also produce our hot water with the pellet heating system

To complement this, we use green electricity, mostly generated from Tyrolean hydropower.
