Riding is possible for children from 6 years on the riding arena and from 10 years out on the trails (except for guided children’s rides and “Bambini” riding lessons for in-house guests).
Suitable clothing is required for riding.
Wearing a riding helmet is mandatory (helmets can be borrowed).
For the sake of our horses, there is a weight limit of 85 kg for riders.
During school holiday periods we do not have capacity for external riders. We kindly ask for your understanding.

Riding lessons

Riding lessons at Darrehof take place in small groups (max. 4 riders).
Our riding programme runs from June to October (in winter only on request).

Trail rides

Trail rides only take place with a minimum of 4 participants.
For riding out on the trails, appropriate riding experience is a prerequisite. Before the first ride out, a riding lesson in the arena is mandatory. If a rider does not have sufficient control of the horse, the organiser reserves the right to prohibit participation in trail rides.
