Hooray – Our Darrehof Has Been Awarded the Austrian Ecolabel

Oh everyone, I, the little plush pony, am still hopping with joy! Our Darrehof in Serfaus has been awarded the Austrian Ecolabel – hooray!

Yesterday I trotted through the snow, the freshly snow-covered mountain slopes sparkling in the sunshine, and I thought to myself, "Now that's what I call proper winter!" Lost in thought and fascinated by the winter magic, Chryseldis suddenly crossed my path: "Hey Netti, listen, we're getting an award this evening, do you want to come along?"

An award? I wasn't quite sure what that meant, but it sounded exciting, and whenever something's exciting, I'm always up for it right away, of course! So off to Fiss we went, to the Tourism Day of the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis Tourism Board, where we got to officially receive the Ecolabel from the Federal Ministry for Climate Action. My plush ears were flapping with joy!

The Ecolabel means: We take care of nature – in our organic hotel and sustainable family hotel. We use organic products, watch out for the environment, and do everything in a way that keeps the meadows, trees, animals, and also the little humans who visit us happy.

I think that's really wonderful, because it shows: you can have winter fun in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis while still looking after nature. Whether it's snowball fights, sledging, or skiing – it all works great when we all take a little care of the environment.
