Summer in the Tyrolean Alps: sunshine, crisp mountain air and the whole family on their bikes – setting off straight from the Family Hotel Darrehof in Serfaus.
Relaxed loops for little adventurers, exciting trails for the older ones and scenic tours for everyone – the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis region is a true paradise for a family cycling holiday in Tyrol.
- Length: approx. 5 km (one way)
- Start: directly in Serfaus (e.g. from the information office)
- Route: On a well-maintained path through blooming meadows, partly asphalt, partly forest road, leading up to the mountain restaurant Leithe Wirt at around 1,650 m above sea level.
- Why it’s special: Beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, places to rest & relax along the way (wellness benches, relaxation loungers). Perfect for a relaxed family morning or afternoon.
- Length: approx. 17.4 km
- Elevation: about 650 m ascent / 645 m descent – challenging
- Start/finish: Bikepark Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis
- Description: From the bike park you ride via Serfaus → district St. Zeno, then on gravel and forest roads up to the Komperdell alpine area. The descent offers beautiful trails or flowing paths – ideal when older children or more experienced riders are with you.
If you would like less climbing, you can shorten some sections or get support from the cable car.
- Length: approx. 10.8 km
- Elevation: about 269 m ascent
- Route: Start at the Bikepark Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis → Fiss village → Kulturhaus → direction Obladis → Falterjöchl → to Schönegg → continue along the Urgtalweg → return via Rabuschl to Fiss village and finally back to the bike park.
- Character: Very family-friendly, with beautiful views and moderate climbs. Also ideal if you’d like to take breaks along the way.
