At our family riding farm Gut Darrehof in Serfaus, we follow a clear philosophy: the most important thing is fun and the joy of riding – for both rider and their equine partner. Because for us, a horse is not sports equipment!

Learning

On holiday at our riding stables in Serfaus, you’ll discover the colourful fascination of horses. We offer a professional programme for solid training and further development, as well as leisure riding for the whole family.

Basic training

Only knowledge, understanding and routine can prevent insecurity. That’s why a sound and well-balanced basic training is particularly important to us, so you can learn to handle horses safely.

Private & group lessons

Overwhelm must be avoided. That’s why group lessons are offered only to riders who have already learned in private lessons to give clear instructions independently and feel safe in the saddle.

Trail rides & jumping lessons

For trail rides and jumping lessons, riders must already be confident in all gaits and have a good, secure feeling in the saddle.

Experience

Children and animals – it’s a wonderful combination. On holiday in Serfaus, your little ones can take their first riding attempts on our ponies and Haflingers, learn respectful interaction with animals and take responsibility for them.

What they do and how they behave has a direct effect on the animals’ well-being and mood! Few hobbies can sharpen and develop children’s social skills in the same way.

Switching off

Horse riding isn’t just any hobby. You’ll realise that at the latest when you fully focus on your horse in the here and now.

Because horses react directly to the rider’s mood, they almost force you to switch off and leave everyday life behind, to be fully present and to immerse yourself completely in the pleasure of riding.
