At our Gut Darrehof, young and old horse lovers can enjoy their passion for riding. To ensure the well-being of both two- and four-legged friends, our riding stables, built in 2004, provide the right level of comfort.
Our stables with 18 spacious stalls are home to our horses, ponies and petting animals. The stable is airy and bright, with direct access to two large paddocks where our horses can spend their free time in group turnout. In spring and autumn, they also get to enjoy a well-deserved holiday on the surrounding mountain meadows.
For grooming, a wash area with two bays is available. Of course, our horses are kept in excellent condition with top-quality feed and care, and they regularly see the vet, farrier, osteopath and saddler.
For us, horses are not sports equipment or work machines. Each one has its own special character and is a partner and companion. It is our responsibility to care for them in the best possible way – and they thank us with health, well-being and a willingness to work.
Our spacious tack room is where our well-maintained tack is stored. The saddles are regularly checked by a saddler and, if necessary, adjusted to fit each horse. Riding helmets can also be borrowed here free of charge.
Before or after riding – or for “non-riding” family members during the lessons – our Family Paradise with play and feel-good stations is a welcome change, shortening the waiting time or simply offering space to relax and play.
For anyone who can’t get enough of horses even at night, there is a spacious holiday apartment for up to 5 people located directly above the stables. Staying under one roof with your four-legged favourites makes children’s hearts beat faster.
