Adventure Night
Colourful extravaganza on the Komperdell every Wednesday in winter featuring a laser show and impressive ski show presented by the ski school. Middle run and floodlit toboggan run, cable car and underground railway in operation until 11 pm (subject to change).

"Almabtrieb" cattle drive

Every year in September, the colourful "Almabtrieb" takes place, a festival that celebrates the safe return of the Serfaus cows from the mountain pastures on the Komperdell (Sunday, depending on the weather).

Alpine farm visit
Informative guided tour around the barn and dairy at the Komperdellalm in summer (see the weekly programme for the dates).

Arrival/departure
You can check into our rooms and apartments from 4.30 pm onwards. We kindly ask you to vacate the rooms and apartments by 10 am on the day of departure.

Baby
We are happy to provide you with cots and high chairs (up to 2 years of age) free of charge, subject to availability. Our telephone system has a baby monitor function. Please ask at the reception if you would like to make use of this facility.

Bar
We serve drinks of all kinds in our hotel bar. See the current weekly programme for details of the opening hours.

Bathrobes
Bathrobes for adults are provided in your room or apartment.

BBQ
At our Family Paradise on the Darrehof farm, there is a fire pit and firewood for building a campfire. Barbecue facilities are also available at Lake Högsee.

Bikes
In summer, you can park your bikes and mountain bikes in our boot and bike storage room in the cellar – if you bring your own bikes, we recommend that you lock them up. You can rent bikes (also e bikes and high end mountain bikes) in the sports shops in Serfaus. To get to our riding stables easily, you can use the free bikes that are kept in the underground garage. Please not that only bikes marked "Darrehof" can be used. These bikes are only intended to be used for cycling to and from the riding stables. Only this route is covered by insurance.

Book corner
You will find many books, in particular children's books and books about horses, in our breakfast room.

Breakfast
Our breakfast buffet is available from 8 am to 10 am. In addition to produce from our farm, you will also find many delicacies from regional partners and family friends. For guests staying in our apartments, the breakfast buffet can be booked as an optional extra – please pre-book as we only have limited breakfast places available.

Cable car
You can get to the cable car easily on foot (5-10 minutes) or via the underground railway ("Zentrum" station directly opposite our hotel).

Carriage rides
A special highlight for the whole family in winter – a romantic carriage ride. Our guests can take advantage of discounted prices.

Children’s playroom
There are plenty of games to keep youngsters entertained in our children's play paradise. Parents are responsible for supervising their children.

Culinary Autumn
From mid-September to mid-October, the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis region hosts the "Genussherbst" (Culinary Autumn) event that includes many highlights, such as the tractor and classic car meeting, the harvest festival, the colourful "Almabtrieb" cattle drive and much more. The restaurants and mountain huts offer many special deals.

Equestrian games

In summer, fun equestrian games are held at Gut Darrehof every week for children and adults (see the weekly programme).

In summer, guests can enjoy equestrian vaulting once a week at Gut Darrehof (see the weekly programme).

Evening meal
You will find a variety of restaurants nearby where you can enjoy a delicious evening meal. Refer to the A-Z guide for tips on where to eat or ask at the reception. We are happy to make table reservations for you. Special highlights: BBQ nights in Madatschen or evening meal on the mountain at the Adventure Night event in winter.

Family paradise
On our riding and adventure farm on the outskirts of the village, you will find a large playground in a unique setting together with a pram-friendly circular trail and petting zoo with many animals. Guests staying with us can use the Darrehof Family Paradise free of charge.

Family sauna/non-nude sauna
You will find our family sauna (60°C) next to the indoor pool. It is locked for security reasons. During opening hours (Sunday to Friday from 4 pm to 8 pm), you can ask for the key at the reception.

Farm
Our farm at the entrance to the village of Serfaus is home to our Haflinger horses, ponies and many other cuddly animals: rabbits, goats, our donkey Emma and in summer also the llamas and Tyrolean mountain sheep. From February onwards, it's foaling season for our Haflinger horses. This is a good reason for a visit, and not just for the children. You are also welcome to visit Paul while he's at work in the stables.

Fire alarm system
For your protection, our apartments and rooms are equipped with sensitive smoke detectors that are connected directly to the fire station. Please note that considerable costs (€400 to €700) are incurred every time the fire brigade is called out, which are charged to whoever raised the alarm. Frequent causes of false alarms are cooking without the extractor fan, leaving bread rolls in the toaster or even leaving the bathroom door open while taking a hot shower.

Fitness room
For guests who want to exercise, various standard fitness equipment is available. (Opening hours 7 am to 10 pm).

Garage
Treat your car to a holiday and park it conveniently in our underground garage – entrance height 2.20 metres down to 1.80 metres (€10 per day in winter, €7 per day in summer) – obligatory since there is no alternative parking.

Guest card
Please fill in the guest card at the reception after arrival. You need this to get your discounted ski passes.

Guest fridge
There is a fridge on the first floor which can be used by all guests in the hotel rooms.

Hikers' bus
Our guests can use the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis hikers' bus free of charge in summer. You will find the latest timetable on our information board.

Hiking
Our summer guests can look forward to an extensive hiking area. See the current weekly programme for details on the guided tours. Especially keen hikers can collect hiking medals. You can borrow hiking poles at the reception. In winter, prepared winter hiking trails (most of which are suitable for prams or pushchairs) are available for guests.

Horse riding
Both children and adults can look forward to a wide range of riding activities at the Gut Darrehof riding stables. More information is available here » Riding experience

Hotel bill

To avoid queues on the day of departure, we kindly ask you to settle your hotel bill by 8 pm the day before you leave. We accept EC, Visa or MasterCard. For cash payments, we offer a 2% discount on the rental price.

I

Indoor pool
Our indoor pool (4 x 9 metres) with a counter-current system is open daily from 8 am to 8 pm. No access with street shoes – please wear bathing shoes or slippers. Jumping into the pool is not permitted for safety reasons.

Information
Our reception team will be happy to provide you with any information you may require. The same applies to the team at the Serfaus tourist information office at the municipal office.

Key card
Your key card opens your room/apartment, the teen lounge and the fitness room as well as the doors to the building (night entrance, ski/boot storage room, underground garage).

"Lange Nacht" event
In summer, enjoy a "Lange Nacht" (Long Night) experience in the centre of Serfaus from 7 pm to 11 pm with the Serfaus village musicians as well as live jazz, blues & country music, entertainers, jugglers and magicians. Savour the Serfaus gastronomy and try local specialities and products directly from the farms.

Laundry room
A guest laundry with coin-operated machines (washing machine and dryer – 2 x €0.50 each) and ironing facilities are available for our guests.

Relax and socialise with friends or family during the day and in the evening in our cosy bar with an open fireplace or on the two terraces in summer (until 10 pm).

Outdoor swimming pool
Serfaus has an outdoor heated swimming pool. Our guests can use the pool free of charge. You will need a voucher, which you can collect at the reception.

P

Pets
If bringing your pet on holiday with you, please make sure that he or she is clean and well-behaved. Only leave animals alone in the room or apartment if they are accustomed to it. We will have to charge for any damage caused by your pet. As some of our apartments cater specifically to allergy sufferers, pets are not allowed in all apartments.

Pony rides
In summer, our youngest guests (under 6) are treated to pony rides once a week – please collect the free vouchers at the reception.

Postbus stop
When arriving in Serfaus, the bus stops right in front of the entrance to our hotel. When leaving Serfaus, the bus stop is on the opposite side of the street in front of the Posthotel. The timetable is displayed at the bus stop. We would be happy to help you find specific connections.

Postcards
Free postcards of Feriengut Darrehof and our horses are available at the reception; postcards of the resort of Serfaus and the region are available in our souvenir shop "Greiter's Laden".

Sauna (nude sauna)
Traditional "Stuben" sauna, bio sauna, steam room as well as Physiotherm infra-red cabin are available from Sunday to Friday from 4 pm to 8 pm. No access with street shoes – please wear bathing shoes or slippers. Children under the age of 14 are welcome to use our family sauna (non-nude sauna).

Shopping
On the lower ground floor of our house, there is a large M-Preis supermarket and Baguette bakery/café. You can buy souvenirs and gifts in Greiter's Laden, which is also on the same floor. Our guests receive a special 5% discount in Greiter’s Laden (excluding newspapers and tobacco products). Contribute to food waste prevention by mindful shopping – it would be a shame for food to end up in the bin.

Ski, boot and bike storage room
Entrance directly on Dorfbahnstraße. This is a convenient place to store your skis, ski boots, hiking boots, riding boots, and so on. You will find washing facilities for your boots in the guest laundry. There is also space for your bikes and prams/pushchairs in the ski and boot storage room.

Smoking
Smoking is not permitted in the rooms and apartments – for the sake of your neighbours. There is a smoking area in front of the hotel entrance.

"Summr Huangart" folk festival
Every second week in summer at the valley station of the Komperdell cable car. Experience a bit of Serfaus tradition and enjoy culinary delights and musical morsels.

Super.Summer.Card
In summer, the inclusive Super.Summer.Card covers free use of the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis cable cars and hikers' bus, guided hikes, as well as childcare in the Murmli Club and Murmli Crèche for children aged 3 and over.

Table tennis/table football
You can play table tennis and table football in House Greiter. Bats and balls (also for table football) are available at the reception.

Teen lounge
For teenagers and those young at heart, there is a "Chill Lounge" with age appropriate games (opening hours from 8 am to 10 pm).

Telephone
You can make free internal phone calls by dialling the respective room or apartment number directly. If you would like a free line for external calls (subject to a charge), dial "0" first and then dial the usual area code (e.g., to call Germany, dial 00049...., or for Switzerland, dial 00041....). You can also receive external calls. Simply dial the telephone number for Feriengut Darrehof followed by the extension. (For example, to get through to the Gänseblumen apartment from abroad, dial +43 5476 6226 201).

W

Waste – please separate it!
Help us – for the sake of the environment – by taking care to separate your waste. You can dispose of the waste from your apartment in our waste disposal area (ski/boot storage room). We separate the following: paper, cardboard, plastic/PET/composites, coloured glass, white glass, cans, organic waste and residual waste. We collect non-mouldy bread without spread separately as a treat for our animals on the farm. Thank you for your cooperation.

Wi-Fi
Free wireless internet access is available throughout the building. No access data is required.
