Riding Stables in Serfaus
At the Darrehof stables, horse lovers of all ages can live and breathe their favourite sport. The stables, which were built in 2004, provide every creature comfort for our horses and our guests.
Our riding stables have 18 spacious boxes and are home to our horses, ponies and petting zoo. The stables are airy and bright and open directly out onto two large paddocks, where our horses are free to run about together in their free time. In spring and autumn, they also get to enjoy a well-deserved holiday on the surrounding mountain meadows.
We have a wash bay with spaces for two horses to take care of all their grooming needs. Our horses want for nothing – they are exceptionally well looked after and fed and regularly see the vet, farrier, osteopath and saddler.
We do not treat our horses as sports equipment or machines. Each horse has its own special character and is a partner and companion. It is our obligation to take the best possible care of them – they thank us for it by being healthy, happy and willing to work.
In our spacious tack room, the tack is kept neat and tidy. Saddles are checked by a saddler on a regular basis and, if necessary, adjusted to fit the respective horse. You can hire riding hats here free of charge.
After a strenuous riding lesson, you are bound to be thirsty and hungry. A coffee and snack machine in the riding stable provides suitable refreshments.
Before, after or during the riding lessons (for family members who are not riding), the play and relaxation areas in the Darrehof Family Paradise provide a welcome change and shorten the waiting time or simply provide a place to relax and play.
For those who simply cannot get enough of horses, even at night, there is a spacious apartment directly above the riding stables that sleeps up to 5 guests. Sleeping under the same roof as their beloved four-legged friends is especially exciting for children.
