Crash-landing in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis! What could have happened?
The kids' expedition is tasked with figuring out the circumstances and course of events of the mysterious accident.
Visitors to the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis holiday region in Tyrol discover a wreck of a crashed plane in a clearing near Komperdell mountain in Serfaus, at approximately 2000 metres above sea level. Jettisoned cargo can be found throughout the surrounding woods as well. Also, there are signs that the pilot managed to survive by jumping with a parachute before the crash. Now, more precise details of the crash, as well as the identity of the pilot, must be explained by the kids' expedition.
The kids from Serfaus embark on the trail to the wreckage equipped with an "adventure backpack" with all the necessary tools, including compass, telescope, and other instruments, as well as a newspaper with eyewitness reports. The farther they hunt, the more jettisoned cargo they can find. Just like a puzzle, the story slowly comes together, allowing kids to discover the interesting details of the crash. But only upon returning to the tourism association office do the kids get to learn the full story, finding out the identity of the pilot and what happened to him or her.
